In 2008, Hidea's first outboard motor was born.

In 2009, Hidea completed its first outboard motor production line. The same year, the company obtained ISO 9001 quality management system certification, and its products received U.S. EPA and EU CE certifications.

In 2010, Hidea held its first Chinese regional outboard motor dealer conference. That same year, Hidea's outboard motors were designated as the official support power equipment by the Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee.

In 2011, Hidea was recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise. The same year, Hidea's technology and management team visited Honda in Japan for a study tour.

In 2012, Hidea established its Sanmen Parts Factory.

In 2013, Hidea held its first European distributors' meeting.

In 2014, Hidea held the opening ceremony for its Linping factory.

In 2015, Hidea was successfully listed on the New Third Board.

In 2016, Hidea laid the foundation for an intelligent manufacturing base with an annual capacity of 100,000 outboard motors. That same year, its outboard motors passed the type certification of the China Classification Society (CCS).

In 2017, Hidea launched its EFl series of outboard motors.

In 2018, Hidea held its 10th-anniversary celebration and the Global Outboard Motor Summit Forum. The company also received the Advanced Enterprise Award for Intelligent Manufacturing Standards in Zhejiang Province that year.

In 2019, Hidea held a global distributors’ meeting. In the same year, it was recognized as an "Invisible Champion" enterprise of Zhejiang Province.

In 2020, Hidea initiated and participated in drafting the general technical standards for China’s outboard motor industry. Also in 2020, Zhejiang Hidea Power Outboard Motor Research Institute was accredited as a Provincial Enterprise Research Institute, and Hidea obtained the GJB9001C-2017 certification for weapon and equipment quality management systems.

In 2021, Hidea was awarded the Special Contribution Unit by the National Emergency Management Department in the National Fire Industry Vocational Skills Competition. The same year, Hidea received the 2021 Most Influential Brand Award and the Industry Excellence Contribution Award from the China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry. Hidea also made targeted donations to disaster-stricken areas in Henan Province in 2021.

In 2022, Hidea was recognized as a "Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative" SME of Zhejiang Province and passed the Digital Workshop assessment under Hangzhou’s Future Factory initiative. It was also granted the "Quality Management Innovation Award" by the Linping District Government. Additionally, Hidea obtained certifications including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, the new EU CE marking, and the UK UKCA marking in the same year.

In 2023, the "HIDEA" brand was recognized as a "Zhejiang Export Famous Brand" by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce. Hidea was also designated as a national-level "Little Giant" enterprise under the Specialized and New Enterprises program.

In 2024, Hidea Company was designated as the “Official Sponsor” by the Organizing Committee of the China Rubber Boat Landing Challenge. It was also recognized as a “High-Growth” enterprise within the Green Energy Industrial Ecological Park of Linping District.

In 2025, the second Hangzhou Hidea Power Outboard Motor Global Summit Forum was successfully held. During the event, the ceremony for the 500,000th outboard motor rolling off the production line took place, along with the “Haide Enjoyment Day: Ride Across Qing Shan Lake” test-drive and experience activity.
